The magic of the Christmas holidays welcomes residents and tourists with a series of events for all ages with lights, garlands and decorated trees!
Kicking off the event is the lighting of the illuminations, starting on 21 November, the day of the Festa della Salute.
On November 24th at 4.30 p.m. it will be the turn of the tree in St Mark’s Square, while on December 2nd the Venice ice skating rink will also be inaugurated.
New Year’s Eve in Venice with fireworks to welcome 2024!
On December 31, at midnight, everyone will be looking up for the fireworks display that will illuminate the San Marco Basin. The good luck toast, illuminated by fireworks, will characterize New Year’s Eve in Venice! At the stroke of midnight, the San Marco Basin, in front of the Arsenale, will light up thanks to the fireworks display, designed to welcome the most awaited night of the year in an exciting and evocative setting.
